Traineeship
A mandatory 2-week traineeship concludes the Trucking training
program. The student is responsible for finding a traineeship
position. Most students are hired at the end of their traineeship
period.
Traineeship Coordinator
The traineeship coordinator helps the student choose a traineeship
position which is likely to suit his professional interests.
Right from the start of the training program, students are
provided with a list of businesses offering traineeship
opportunities leading to strong employment possibilities.
Posters displaying company information such as the address
and telephone number, the type of equipment used, and the
territory covered are also made available to students so
they can choose the best possible option. The traineeship
coordinator provides support and supervision before and
after the traineeship as well as during the training program.
Job Bank
The traineeship coordinator keeps the job bank updated and
students have access to it during or after their training.
Job Postings
A notice board located in the student cafeteria displays
job and traineeship postings.
Invitation
On occasion, the traineeship coordinator will ask an employer
to meet the students and speak of his business. Students
are therefore better prepared to meet the needs of the employer.
The services provided by the traineeship coordinator
contribute to maintaining a placement rate of 95% of our
graduates.
