Founded
in 1976, the Centre de formation du transport routier Saint-Jérôme
(CFTR) has been designated by the ministère de l'Éducation
du Loisir et du Sport as being one of the two public Centers in
Quebec, authorized to issue the Diploma of Vocational Studies in
trucking.
On an annual basis, the CFTR provides training to approximately
700 students.

In addition to answering the numerous business demands for personnel
training, the centre also offers a training program intended for
bus and taxi drivers.
